      <description>Hello Great Gurus&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;as Mr Roger Faucher recomend me a url &lt;A href="http://www.ntfs.com/mbr-damaged.htm," target="_blank"&gt;http://www.ntfs.com/mbr-damaged.htm,&lt;/A&gt; i visit the site, and over there it is writen that:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"MBR contains the Partition Table for the disk and a small amount of executable code for the boot start"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I just wana ask that who place this "small amount of exe code for the boot start"??? I mean is this executable code is placed by the installation media on to the MBR??? if so then please let me know the name of that small executable code, placed by installation media of win 2k, and xp.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards</description>
