      <description>not sure what you're asking. more info is needed. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;by default, child domains always trust parrent domains. "Mixed mode" is a forest wide setting. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;do you have more then one forest?</description>

      <description>As I read what you are asking:&lt;BR /&gt;Domain1 is native -- all W2000 servers/DC. Domain2 is mixed -- has at least one that is non-W2000, so probably NT. &lt;BR /&gt;they are 'same company', but the domains were established separately -- ie: separate trees in this forest.&lt;BR /&gt;Now, is that accurate? You are saying you want subdomain.domain.com (that is, Domain1, which you say is running AD) to trust domain.com (that is, Domain2 [which apparently is not running AD?]).</description>
