"Mixed mode" is a forest wide setting. <BR /><BR />do you have more then one forest? Domain2 is mixed -- has at least one that is non-W2000, so probably NT. <BR />they are 'same company', but the domains were established separately -- ie: separate trees in this forest.<BR />Now, is that accurate? You are saying you want subdomain.domain.com (that is, Domain1, which you say is running AD) to trust domain.com (that is, Domain2 [which apparently is not running AD?]).
