      <title>Video Problems w/HP 6553</title>

      <description>I am having a video problem with games that have some good animation. Like ; &lt;BR /&gt;L/S 2000, and (Interplay Sports) Virtual Deap sea Fishing.&lt;BR /&gt;I go into the games and then the PC either freezes up, or reboots system. I &lt;BR /&gt;sometimes get vertical lines going up, when it freezes.&lt;BR /&gt;Need help to pin-point problem.&lt;BR /&gt;I have a 466mhz 6553 model. &lt;BR /&gt;Thank you !&lt;BR /&gt;James Passaniti</description>

      <description>Hello James,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP has a great document at our website to assist you in troubleshooting this &lt;BR /&gt;issue with the computer hanging and/or freezing.  It's a pretty long document &lt;BR /&gt;so I'll just include the link here for you.  Walk through this document and try &lt;BR /&gt;some of the suggestions like changing the video resolution, etc.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you still have problems after going through the troubleshooting document, &lt;BR /&gt;there is a link off of that page to contact the Customer Care Center for the &lt;BR /&gt;Pavilion prodcuts.  You should give them a call or post a message in the &lt;BR /&gt;Pavilion forum and they should be able to help you out.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Jamie Hughes&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
