Help 4000+ Microsoft Office Hyperlinks broken on new server

Hi all

Big problem well for me at any rate I need to be able to remove the opening path (\\TRADING_SRV)

(\\TRADING_SRV\STANDARD\ENVIRON\Environm\NOTICES\EPACT\Sec80Sec3_Noise\05.042.doc)

from all hyperlinks in Word and Excel documents on a server (thousands of links hundreds of documents) any suggestions apart from doing them all manually?

u can write a VBA script to search the link and update it..

Sorry for the delay for posting points things are a bit hectic at the moment. Do you know if the same VBA can be used for all office products (excel/word are the main ones)?

Hi,
The same VBA code cannot be used, but will require a minimal amount of changes to them and it will work fine..
