Omnibook XE2-DC Beta BIOS

Could someone please send me the BETA BIOS update for the Omnibook XE2-DC?
There is a link to it on the HP site at
http://www.hp.com/omnibook/docs/xe2_dcdd.exe but the file does not exist. Will
this update allow my audio/modem card to work?

Hello Scott,

I haven't had any luck in locating the BETA BIOS and drivers for the Omnibook
XE2-DC either. I only have access to the BETA software for the DD and DB
models. I did some checking and it does look like we will release the software
for your model, I just don't know when.

You might be able to get a more specific answer as to when it might be released
by calling the Customer Support Center at 970-635-1000. You would press option
3 for products you have already purchased, and then follow the prompts to
Omnibooks. Unfortunately we don't have a separate forum for Omnibooks but you
might be able to get more info if you call them directly.

Also, check back at the website frequently. HP is releasing new W2K drivers on
a daily basis.
