<title>topic proliant windows update procedure in Operating System - Microsoft</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-microsoft/proliant-windows-update-procedure/m-p/3348522#M5185</link>
<description>After running Windows Update on a Proliant Server (e.g. ML350 G3), is there anything else I should do prior to restarting? My understanding is that as long as I answer NO to any prompt about overwriting drivers or other vendor-supplied files, I can just restart. I remember years ago having to run a utility buried in the SmartStart CD, and then later right off the Compaq site, that would double check the drivers and re-install any as needed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!</description>
