      <description>I have a Dell Dimensions XPS-T500 running Windows NT 4.0 SP5, My problems is I &lt;BR /&gt;can not get the software to detect the scanner no matter what i try, I tried &lt;BR /&gt;the Scandesk II from the original CD and the new 2.8 version from the HP web &lt;BR /&gt;site and for the scsi card SYM20402,i checked the DEll web site with no luck, &lt;BR /&gt;please help.&lt;BR /&gt;Carlos Perez</description>

      <description>Try unstalling the scanning software then reinstalling it without the scanner connected to the power outlet and the PC.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Reboot with the scanner connected to the power outlet and the PC.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope it works...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Goodluck!</description>
