      <description>The only light that comes on is that the AC is plugged in, no battery light or others. It is an older presario laptop 12XL125.</description>

      <description>Hi Schmidt,&lt;BR /&gt;Depens on wat you call broke, if the connecter is damaged and causes wrong powerflow it will not start, if the battary is dead, just can not recharge anymore it should start with extarnal power. Most laptops will even power on with the battery removed, wit hthe powercabel connected ofcourse.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH, have a nice day,&lt;BR /&gt;Ronald</description>
