connect to informix from windows

hi all

i have database informix v 5.05 installed on OS HP-UX v 10.2

i want to connect to my database from windows environment. through ODBC

which application can do this operation?

kamal,
most windows apps have a ODBC interface.
We have used Access in the past to Oracle.
Using help in Excel and "ODBC" gives detailed instructions.

i get informix connect software for windows

but i can't configure environment on the server

there is file called sqlhosts
i can't find this file under $INFORMIXDIR/etc

and i must enter service in /etc/services
and in /$INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts

to establish connection.

please if any body tryed this operation before?
please descript it to me
