    <description>Help.  I just received an HP Vectra VE PC from our Information Management &lt;BR /&gt;Division (IMD).  I can't get them to fix this problem so I can't use it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On boot up I get this error message:&lt;BR /&gt;"At least one service or driver failed during system startup.&lt;BR /&gt;Use Even Viewer to examine the event log for details."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In the Event Log is an error from Service Control Manager:&lt;BR /&gt;"The 3Com 3C59x BUS Master Adapter Driver service failed to start due to the &lt;BR /&gt;following error:&lt;BR /&gt;A device attached to the System is not functioning."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After Boot UP Internet Explorer errors out witht the following message:&lt;BR /&gt;"An application error has occured and an application eror log is being &lt;BR /&gt;generated." ...  access violation ... IEXPLORE.EXE"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What do I need to do to make this NT PC work?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any information would be appreciated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ronald W.       <description>I would remove the 3com driver and reinstall it. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do the IE as well.</description>
