    <description>Paul:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would contact HP at 1 800 HP-INVENT and locate an HP-authorized repair center. Then contact them and discuss the problem. Some repair centers (un-authorized?) may have the capability/willingness to replace the connector which (as you indicated) is attached to the motherboard.
