In trying to recreate my problem, I rebooted and
brought up EXCEL, I printed an spreadsheet in EXCEL
and got the following errors: (when it is close to being completely printed)
(It prints the document ok)
I have recently updated to the latest printer driver
HPFCFG11.EXE.
Hi Jon,

It would be most helpful if you could post the complete error message. We can
try to help you out but you'll need to supply all the details of the error,
including what you were doing when you received the error, the exact error
message, operating system version and service pack/release level, list of
applications running and versions, etc.

It's a little hard to pinpoint what might be causing it at this point. Please
post more details and we'll try to give you some suggestions.

Best regards,
Jamie Hughes

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the additional details. I may have a fix for you! There is a known
problem with the symptoms you describe that sometimes references ism.dll,
spool32, etc. The error occurs because a portion of the printer driver code
that isn't needed for printing is being accessed.

Bring up Windows Explorer and open the C:\Program Files folder. You should see
a folder named Image Server. Right click the Image Server folder and rename it
to Image. Exit Explorer and restart the computer.

I'm not sure what the frequency of the error was before but check the above and
post another message and let me know if that fixes the problem. I hope this
works out for you.

Best regards,
Jamie Hughes
