armada m700 hard-disk format

i use an armada m700 with a bad floppy and cd-rom. I need to format my hard-disk and i'm tryin to use an external cd-rom but d cd-rom doesn't boot the hard-disk. Any help on how i can format the hard-disk from the external cd-rom?

What do you mean by "doesn't boot the hard-drive"?

It doesn't recognize it? What do you try to run? Windows install? Any error? :)

i'm trying to boot from an external USB CD-ROM but it's like the system doesn;'t read from the CD-ROM. It just boots windows normally, but i'm trying to boot from CD so as to format the system. There are no errors.

In the BIOS configuration you should change the boor sequence. I think it's F10 when computer starts. Look fo rhte message "Press FXX for Setup". There you change the sequence so it won't try to boot from HD as it's first device.
