    <description>You may want to boot to the boot disk and FDISK first, delete any partitions, create a new one and then format. First, though, make sure format.com is on the boot disk, if not, copy it from the system folder.</description>

      <description>Hi:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have a 'boot floppy', boot from it and type in FORMAT C: from the command prompt. This assumes the drive you want to format is Drive C:.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have no boot floppy, you can download one from &lt;A href="http://www.bootdisk.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.bootdisk.com&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make a great day!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Roger</description>
