Depending on how old the drive is, you'll need to install the drivers on to your newly formatted C: drive in order to do the Windows 98 install.<BR /><BR />Go to <A href="http://www.bootdisk.com" target="_blank">http://www.bootdisk.com</A><BR /><BR />Create a windows 98 boot disk<BR /><BR />Make sure that the new Bootdisk is in drive A:, and start up your system using the disk. <BR /><BR />FORMAT C: /S<BR /><BR />Install your CDROM drivers, and reboot.<BR /><BR />Insert the Windows 98 CD, and start the install.<BR /><BR />The boot disks from BOOTDISK.COM come with generic CDROM drivers.
