acs.exe creating error while shutting down

Hi,

whenever i shutdown my computer, i get this error in a message box.
Application popup: acs.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x7c59d6f4" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program"

Please advice,i cannot take a screenshot as this only happens when i am shutting down my computer.

What is computer model?
What Operation system?

Do you have wirelless on computer?
Do you have Atheros Client Utility from HP?
which version?

the computer model is HP nc6000 and i am running windows 2000 sp4. Yes i do have wirelss on the computer and i use atheros client 3.1.1.54. i also managed to take a pic of the error please see attachment

I think acs.exe related to Atheros Client Utility, therefore as first thing I suggest to upgrade HP WLAN W400-W500 Driver for Windows 2000/XP

I would just remove then reload the wireless software.
