I have found that using the manufacturer's Win2K drivers doesn't always work with or in Windows 2000. Instead, if you use the drivers that are pre-installed into Windows 2000, you will not only find your printer supported, but hundreds of others. I would bet this would give you success as well. Being in a corporate environment, I have found that when I have to use Windows 2000's printer driver instead of the Manuf.'s, I have to "add a new local port" and put in the UNC network share before it will print over the network. (Just so you know, I'm using HP printers and HP JetDirects to connet them at work). Good Luck!

Did you download the Windows 2000 specific driver from the Customer Care site:

http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpdeskjet918369_swen.html
