how to conigure x windows on windows 2000 client

dear all,
we have one rp3410 server with hp ux 11.23
.we installed the xmanger software on one of the window client ,but no display .what are the procedure to get the display

connectivity is ok between server and client

plese specify the configuration file i have to edit to get the display and what are the modification

Hi,

I have no idean what Xclient-sw you are using.

But when you start the x-client, select new client/connection--> select X???? -->and select the hostname /ip of the rp3410.

Sometimes you need to need to rightclick on the Xclient and select X-Desktop from Taskbar

Hi, try this procedure:

+ Start your xwindows client on passive mode.

+ Logon in your HP-UX server and do an EXPORT DISPLAY=:0

Try to start SAM (sam) to see if works.

be sure to configure your Xclient to accept connections from your Xserver. in Cygwin, this is:
xhost +yourhostname
