HP Model 720

I am running Windows 98 on a pentium machine. I also have an IBM Thinkpad and wanted to connect both to a Parallel AutoSwitch. I purchased a Belkin F1U115E Switch. I read that I need to initiate the HPRCFG14.exe, and remove the check in the Bi-drectional Communication box. I click on the HPRCFG14.exe file, and it tells me that it needs the HPFC1614.dll file to run. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now, and it is still not loading onto my PC. I can not locate this file on the installation disk. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok, NM, see the little paper clip on the above post....click on that for hpfc1614.dll, its attached to the message

ok, I found the file its asking for, you need to place it in the windowssystem folder, reboot, then try installing

if you have nay trouble, you know where to come!

(p.s there should be a link somewhere at the bottom to the DLL you?re looking for.....)

Thank you for the speedy response. I was only now able to get back to your answer, and when I clicked on the link, it said the page was not found. If you could be so kind as to send me a more current link, I would greatly appreciate it.
