    <description>Thanks for the reply.  I tried reinstalling Quickplay (uninstalled then reinstalled from SWSETUP directory).  No go.  Then I updated again to build version v3726 from within Quickplay.  Still no go.  Not sure what else I can try.  Looks like there might be a problem with the DVD codec that Quickplay uses.</description>

      <title>QuickPlay DVD not working in Vista</title>

      <description>I have a dv9000t custom configured with HD DVD drive, 2.0ghz C2D processor, 2gb ram and 16x10 screen resolution with Vista Home Premium preloaded.  Out of the box QuickPlay 3.0 DVD was not working.  I updated it to v3726 but still says "HP QuickPlay has stopped working" and program closes.  Other functions within QuickPlay do work (playlist, tv, etc).  And DVD playback via WMP and PowerDVD (subsequently installed) work fine.  Please help.</description>

      <description>I have the exact same problem with a 9260US Pavilion Laptop.  It also does this with HD-DVDs</description>
