HP Credential Manager install hangs

I cannot get this product to install. by running the install from the command line i can see that it performs most tasks but it hangs after copying files into programfiles and after registering the file webagent.dll.

Has anyone seen this before and have a solution? Or even tell me the manual steps to perform after that point?

I have the same problem.

Looks like it starts rolling back just after "creating user directory"

Have you had any luck Tim?

Problem occurs using:
- Security Manager 3.00 AA,
- Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools 2.5.0.880.13
- nc8430 notebook
- Win XP Pro

I did eventually get Credential manager to install - I rebuilt the PC !

Sorry - not very helpful - but was the only thing I could get to work.
