    <description>Hi Piyush,&lt;BR /&gt;Personally I'm not femiliar with Samba, bt what happends if you connect to the home dir's by UNC path or browse to it with networklocations? &lt;BR /&gt;If you also get some errors the onderlying problem may not be Samba. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a nice day,&lt;BR /&gt;Regards, Ronald</description>

      <title>Lock Violation Error</title>

      <description>Hi all&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a IRIX machine on which all users home directories are present.&lt;BR /&gt;Earlier I used to map these home dir thru SAMBA onto windows machines and everything worked fine. &lt;BR /&gt;But recently we had to reboot our server. Since then the files gets mapped but if i try to access any file , i get the error " lock violation error"&lt;BR /&gt;Pls do help me out in this case&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regds&lt;BR /&gt;Piyush</description>
