Hello freezing:

If you bought it with Vista, it must be under warranty. Why not return it to HP for repair?

Make a great day!

Roger
Quite honestly, as an individual who has worked within HP, as well as having a family employment total combined time of over 100+ years working with and for HP, I am going to call this HP Pavilion Entertainment PC model number DV6215US the worst designed system of all time. It has been obvious to me for the past umpteen months that this notebook, along with several other DV series notebooks, have terribly bad motherboard designs which render these units beyond just semi dysfunctional.

Needless to say, I will not go into details here for the reason that I have spent a combined 240+ hours on support efforts in getting this these many issues corrected, and nothing has been done.

If you own a DV series notebook and have been having loads of problems since first buying it, contact me, lets see if we can help each other out here.

p.s. that IS of course, if your notebook doesn't look like this one in the image that I attached.

Scott Bruno
