I don't know how to fix the <F10>, but you can make it boot into that recovery partition:

http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1383983</F10>

I am trying to start a system recovery, but pressing the F10 key doesn't do anything. I was able to get to a DOS prompt and see that the C: partition is gone. But the D: partition with the recovery information is still intact. However, everytime I start up the PC, I get the invalid system disk error. How do I get it to boot straight to the D: recovery partition, if F10 doesn't work?
