    <description>She may have the microphone plugged into the wrong mini-back on her sound card.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See if she has the Sound Recorder application in the Start, Programs, Accessories, Multimedia group and to try that out.  If she cannot record and playback, then she either a) does not have a microphone, b) is not using it, or c) doesn't have it connected to her computer properly.</description>

      <description>Does any one know if the HP Pavilion S50 has a microphone everytime we try to comunicate my friend hears us but we don't hear her.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Thanks for your help but she didn't find a sound recorder.  However on the msn messenger service there is an audio wizard in the part to adjust microphone volume I have a green-yellow-red line for testing &lt;BR /&gt;and she doesn't.</description>
