Hello Pat,
You need to Create a PST on the OLD machine & usea USB key or any storage device to import it to the New Machine.

Also you can copy all outlook express files (they are in Documents and Settings\\Local Definitions\Application Data\Identities\<...>\Microsoft\Outlook Express\) to your vista pc, import them to Vista's Outlook Express and them import to Outlook.
