Is there an entry made in any of the Windows event logs when a USB drive is connected, and if so, which log, what entry id number.

If not, is there a way I can configure my system to do so?

Looked all through my event logs and can't find anything for attaching USB.
I would be interested to know if this event can be recorded too.

Hello-

I'm actually referring to desktops, not Servers.

My desktops run in the Tivoli endpoint, and I could pass the event up to my Event Management environment to send out notification when this activity is happening.

Thanx.
