      <description>Hello Piet,&lt;BR /&gt;Happy New Year.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once you connect the Adapter, Increase the Brightness to the fullest. &lt;BR /&gt;Then Disconnect the adapter, Increase the Brightness to the fullest again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then try connecting the adapter again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its like you need to set a brightness level for "On power" &amp;amp; "on Battery";&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;amp; every time they are switched across the Brightness level selected .. kicks in.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards.</description>

      <description>Thanks Happy Dude&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope you have an excellent 2008.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I solved the problem.  When I started looking to do what you suggested, I discovered Funct F8, and Voila!, my screen is good again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Difficult to be so stupid.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks again.</description>
