No Way Willy !!
Its your Choice. I'm Happy with IE6 myself.
Other than that for MULTIPLE TABS, you may use MOZILLA FIREFOX. Security wise its the same.

;) Regards.

Hi,
I upgraded to IE7 when IE7 released and I am very satisfied.
I see two main reasons to upgrade to IE7:
1) milti-tab feature and built-in RSS feeds
2) improved security:
http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-1009_11-6130844.html

BTW: for testing you can run IE7 side by side with IE6
http://tredosoft.com/IE7_standalone

Since you metioned you were happy, I would leave it be!! As others have mentioned, there are numerous security enhancements in IE7 (anti-phishing, cookie protection, etc.). Some of these security 'features' have also caused issues for me while trying to load an ActiveX control. Other than that, I've had no issues.

You may just want to hold off until 8.0 gets here (which is in the making according to the rumor mill).

I hated IE7, and it caused several problems for me. Uninstalling it and reverting to IE6 fixed all of them.

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1156317&admit=109447626+1199658491514+28353475

Pat

Looks like IE7 is problematic as I too encounter it hangs my PC the moment after installation and click on it. Need to restore the past point in order return to the normal. Did it twice. So will wait for IE8. So far IE6 is ok.
