Trying to install Windows Server 2008 RC1 on a Proliant DL-385.

Even though the installation sees the Disk, it fails to install indicating the it does not detect a "valid system volume".

I've loaded the P400 array drivers from a USB device.

I have not tried a Smart Start install yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Smartstart apparently is not supported for installing Server 2008.

I found a document indicating that a manual installation is the only supported method.

Is there anyone else out there that might this same issue?
