      <description>Sounds like someone has put a BIOS Boot password on your laptop.  It's either that or a Disk Access password (which is also done through the BIOS).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If neither you nor your Roommate (trying to play tricks on you) have set a BIOS level password, you may need to contact Tech Support for ways to reset the BIOS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have an HP or Compaq Laptop you can search for your exact model on HP's site.
