      <description>Depends on what you mean by "removed" and what FTP and WWW daemons you are talking about.  If you are using IIS as your FTP daemon, then the best you'll be able to do is disable WWW.  However, if you are using a 3rd party FTP daemon, then there is no reason to have WWW installed at all.</description>

      <description>We're using IIS as our FTP.&lt;BR /&gt;But still we need to remove WWW.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The reason is this old NT4 server needs only esential services installed.&lt;BR /&gt;This www service as fewer resources as it may use up, needs to be removed so it doesn't take up memory, disk space or CPU time.&lt;BR /&gt;It will be dismissed like in 3 months, but in the meantime, it needs to be up and running...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you.</description>

      <description>Hi Edgar,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Follow the instruction set here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321141" target="_blank"&gt;http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321141&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You won't lose FTP functionality by uninstalling the World Wide Web services and leaving FTP installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck!</description>
