    <description>Hi Chris,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In servers, serial no is entered in the system bios that can be retrieved from ILO, SMH, HP SIM etc...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this is desktop or laptop and you are managing it from HP SIM... you can check the system info to get this detail.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;for HP desktop and laptop you may check it online&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h41111.www4.hp.com/hps/carepack/emea_middle_east/en/getserial.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://h41111.www4.hp.com/hps/carepack/emea_middle_east/en/getserial.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Aftab</description>

      <description>hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Which program or tool can find out mainboard serial number?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have already tried using HWiNFO32, SIW, Speccy, CPU-Z under WIN XP SP3, but it doesn't work.</description>
