Hi,

Is it possible to have a two node HPE StoreVirtual 3200 configured in a cluster? Or is it that, each node is supposed to be configured seperately with upto 3 enclosures and I cannot have two nodes in 1 cluster?

The documentation does not state how to create a cluster for the 3200. Hence the question.

Obviously with OS13.5 you can do this.

Still looking for the manuals ...

see here

https://h20566.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=co-182468-1#tab2

and

https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayKioskProductsListNoneLogin.do?merchantID=STOREVIRTUAL3000_KIOSK&productNumber=SV3200_13.5

Hi,

You need indeed version 13.5 for that.

On my blog I have an article that describes the process:

http://www.bitcon.be/hpe-storevirtual-3200-becomes-mature-with-new-software-update-13-5/

Of course always follow the latest documentation...

Hi,

does the "Scale Up" procedure provide redudancy of volumes when one of the two nodes is lost?

When I go to Storage Systems->Availability it says that the existing volumes will become unavailable if e.g. the first node goes down.

Do I need the multi site approach to have this kind of availability?

Thanks
