How to upgrade StoreVirtual or P4000 firmware

StoreVirtual SAN OS is upgraded to 12.7 but hardware BIOS and iLO remains at older version. What are the best practices for upgrading the hardware? Can I use the latest SPP to upgrade the hardware? Looking for hardware/software/firmware/driver recipe for Lefthand OS.

Usually firmware is delivered as an OS patch for the Lefthands/StoreVirtual.

What model do you have?

Hi,

not all firmware will come as a CMC patch.

You could call support and ask for the custom ISO ftp link for the Storevirtual P4000.

Right, I remember now. This is a custom SPP specially for your hardware, so running the "normal" SPP should be OK too.
