Hi,

Is it supported to flash the storage nodes with the latest firmware maintenance CD. I can't find anything about it on the web.

I don't think the question is about SAN/iQ.

Ivanbre wants to know if there is support to upgrade the ProLiant-based P4000 boxes with the V9.0 firmware maintenance DVD.

I did not realize the P4000 subforum, sorry.

However, there are advisories related to disk firmware that points directly to the maintenance media.

While I've never seen it "officially" stated, the Lefthand support engineers have never advised me against flashing with the latest HP firmware maintenance when I've asked.

However, they will release those patches as official "SAN/iQ" patches once they have been regression tested, so in general it is probably best practice to wait for the official patches for LeftHand nodes.
