Replacing disk while cluster re-striping is in progress

Hello Dear All,

i have 4 node of HP Storvirtual 4730 under one cluster, after repeiring one of these Nodes, the cluster went to re-string.

and Now. onother node reports that the hot-spare disk "Preductive failure" is it possible to replace the disk while cluster restring is in progress?

The cluster is restriping this is at software level and disk failure is at hardware level ( you still have raid protection).

as you say the disk is in predictive failure that means it is still working if it was failed I would

replace it. In the state it is you can wait for the restripe to finish.

but even if you replace it it should not stop the restripe.
