HPE CMC v12.7 - server removal help

Hi There

Hoping you can help. We need to remove some servers from our environment and never having done it before I have a couple of questions.

1. do i need to select each server, go to Assign and Unassign Volumes & Snapshots and untick the Assigned tick box BEFORE removing?

2. To delete the server do i just right click on each one and select Delete?

This is only a permissions assignment, so as long as you are no longer running anything on the hosts you want to remove, you can detach the datastore inside vCenter from the hosts, remove the iSCSI static/dynamic setup from those hosts and then you can remove/unassign the permissions from CMC.

Then after this, you can delete the removed hosts in the CMC on the server list.
