    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Assen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your fast reply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Perhaps because you are within the HPE network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When opening within a browser as well, I get forbidden.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Test HTTPS Connection..." within CMC&amp;nbsp; (12.7 Build 0229.0") at customers site does not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any Idea?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thomas&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>CMC 12.8 - Unable to check for updates</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since a day or 2 the CMC is not able to check/download updates and can't show any notifications.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When trying to download the error message appears:&lt;BR /&gt;"An error occured trying to connect to the HTTPS server. If using a proxy ....."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We all know this issue with an older version of the CMC but this is the latest.&lt;BR /&gt;Also "Test HTTPS Connection" doesn't work.&lt;BR /&gt;The Commlog shows&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="markup"&gt;ERROR - java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect&lt;/LI-CODE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The preferences.txt has the following "upgradeURL"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="markup"&gt;CmcUpgradePreference.upgradeUrl=https\://downloads.hpe.com/pub/StoreVirtual/CMC/&lt;/LI-CODE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are there some servers down at HPe side?&lt;BR /&gt;Got this issue from 2 different locations.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Srinivas,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think I've got it under control now.&lt;BR /&gt;In&amp;nbsp;C:\Program Files (x86)\HPE\StoreVirtual\UI\downloads\upgrades.xml there is a faulty entry.&lt;BR /&gt;The "DownloadURL" section contains a ftp://@10.10.***** entry that do not belong there.&lt;BR /&gt;I also don't know how it came there (on 3 different sites/CMC instances!!!).&lt;BR /&gt;After removing that line, it looks al works well, even the downloads!&lt;BR /&gt;Upgrades.xml now contains:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="markup"&gt;&amp;lt;?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?&amp;gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Assen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just did some checks with other installations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems to be a problem with the 12.7 CMC. Perhaps because of enforced newer https ciphers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I just downloded the 12.8 wich works.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your help and suggestions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a nice weekend.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thomas&lt;/P&gt;</description>
