Error creating application managed Snapshot Exchange 2003 Information Store

I'm trying to create an application-managed snapshot on our P4300 G2 cluster (SAN iQ 8.5) for an Exchange 2003 (on Server 2003 R2) Information Store. The Error is: "Cannot create an application-managed snapshot because not all application servers are in application cluster." Didn't find anything using Google. Any ideas?

Exchange 2003 does not support vss so you cnnot create application-managed snapshot
