Foe remote copy i would have two management groups, each containing the cluster for your storage nodes.
Step 1 perform an initial remote snapshot
Step 2 place the DR storage node on site
step 3 setup a remote snapshot schedule and this will only replicate the changes

hope this helps
Dougie
I have p4500 with 2 nodes. i want to test the remote copy with this 2 nodes. Can i create one management group with two clusters and each cluster will have one node. I will create one volume and attach to the server, then copy the data and replicate it to another node. After the replication , i will place the second cluster in my dr site and configure snapshot in every one hour ??? Is this the correct way ??
Bandwidht between two sites is 3 Mb.
is there any other method do this ??
how to test the dr site volume ???

the only reason to create diffrent managment group is for bandwitdh managment
nothing is diffrent on the remote copy
