Curious on how to update our FOM for 8.5??
Or is it not necessary?

The "software upgrade user guide" says you have to expand the disks for the FOM as well and then shows in a diagram that the FOM is to be upgraded after the storage nodes.

If the FOM is V7, you have to uninstall and then reinstall V8 -- after you have upgraded the storage nodes.
