topic VSA disk configuration in StoreVirtual Storage

We have a couple of VSA nodes currently configured with single virtual disks (these have been updated from V7.x with the single disk limitation) I am looking at adding additional storage to the ESX hosts and was wondering how the VSA handles the extra virtual disks - does it stripe accross the VDs, use them as a JBOD or something else? the answer may have an impact on how we add extra storage to the hosts.

I believe it is JBOD. The RAID level would be whatever you have on the underlying hardware. So the VSA always sees the drive as JBOD even if your underlying hardware is another RAID flavor (RAID 5,6,10,etc.).
