    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have these messages in event viewer on SQL 2005 SP3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"SQL Server has encountered 3 occurrence(s) of I/O requests taking longer than 15 seconds to complete on file"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Usually during this type we have some queries ruinning on the SQL server....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone seen these messages before?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Does the SQL server have its own volume for data files, and another one for logs? Are you using the mpio plugin?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;found the bottleneck on the network. Throughput of 120 MB per second on 1 GB network.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
