HP Smart Array P400 E-mail notification

Hello,

I want to ask you if is some possibility how to ensure HP smart array P400 sends e-mails when some event (mainly error) occure?

I use Windows 2008 R2, I download and installed:
HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Driver for Windows Server 2008 x64 Edition
HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Event Notification Service for Windows Server 2008 x64 Editions
HP ProLiant Array Configuration Utility for Windows

The following I could not install:
HP Insight Management Agents for Windows Server 2003/2008 x64 Editions

The following error occured:

The software is not supported for installation on this system.
The installation program couldn't find the appropriate system management controller driver which is required but is not currently installed. Please install the appropriate system management controller driver and then rerun the setup program.
Press 'Close' to exit Setup.

I didnt find any sw which would send e-mail notification about HP array status. Do you have some tips?

Hi,
it is recommended to install the Support-Pack.
You find it here:

It includes the Event Notifier
Start\Programms\HP Managment Agents\Event Notifier Config.

Before you install the Support Pack please install and config SNMP.

Have you installed the Card in a HP Server? Supportpack and "HP Insight Management Agents" only can be install in HP Hardware.

Hello,

of course, I have installed the card in server. I have installed "Array configuration utility" and I can see "Smart Array P400 in slot 1".
I am enclosing the sreens from server. You can check, that I tell the truth.

I will appreciate your help, because this situation is real problem for me. I have several servers(Win2008 R2) with this "e-mail notification" problem. All of them have installed "HP SAS Array".

I asked for "HP" Server Hardware (e.g. HP Proliant DL Serie). Only on this you can install Support Pack incl. HP Systemmanagment Controller Driver and Notification Modul.

What is wrong?

Does it mean, that I can not install software for "e-mail notifications"?

firstly, I have to apologize you, because you are right! I used CPUID sw for find out the type of my motherboard.

My MB is: ProLiant DL380 G5.
