topic Management Group Setup in StoreVirtual Storage

I was experimenting with setup of a management group and upon configuration and I have some questions regarding setup. Currently I have our P4500s setup at our local data center but in 3 months we will be purchasing more HP 4500s to place at a DR facility. I will eventually be replicating data to the remote site. VMware LUNs will replicate via SRM to the remote facility for DR purposes. Is it necessary to use a multisite management group to use replication? The reason why I am asking is it doesn't appear to be possible to setup a multisite management group without the other site actually being available.

Thanks in advance.

Use a separate management group. You want to have the DR site run completely independent of the local site. You can still use remote ip copy between management groups.
