Shut Down Procedure - LeftHand NSM4150

Does anyone know if there is a document on how to cleanly shut down the system? We are getting a backup generator installed and power will be out for about 8 hours.

Obviously, I want to cleanly shut the NSM down before we lose power.

Hi,
As far as I am aware all you need to do is to stop access to the disks/volumes being presented out via your NSM, as in shut down the applications and/or servers. Once this is done then right click on the management group and select shutdown. This will perform a clean shutdown of your NSM's. If you have multiple management groups just select each one in turn.
Just make sure that you have stopped access to ALL volumes before you do as I mentioned at the start.

Is there a way to do this from command line? I'd like to gracefully shut down the SAN in the even of a power failure...
