Downloading Updates through Proxy WITH Authentication

Hi,

i have a problem with downloading StoreVirtual Patches because we are using Proxy with Authentification.

Since there is now official Proxy support in release 10 i hope there has been something improved to this.

I already tried

user:pass@proxy

but it wasn´t working.

Do you have any solution to this problem?

Haven't testet this myself but you are talking about CMC 10.5 (and not 10.0)?

10.5 is the version supporting proxy auth. (I belive some of the users in this forum got i working by editing the 10.0 version configuration files)

I tried editing the config files but its only working without authentificaton. I´ve tested with 9.5 10.0 and 10.0.1 (10.5) ;)
