Demo CMC Software

Hi, I am trialling (or trying to) the Lefthand demo, but cant seem to install the CMC file (CMC_8.0.00.1704_Installer.exe). The installer opens up and only has an option to change folder, but no option to install or OK...

Has anyone managed to get that file to work?

I've never heard of that issue before. Did you uninstall another version or is this on a system that has never had any CMC installed?

Also there is now a new 8.1 version of the CMC you could try in case that just side steps your issue somehow.

ahh.... I was downloading the version off the lefthand website... I tried downloading it multiple times off multiple machines, but all the same result.... Almost like the installer program was bugged.

Will give the new website a go, hopefully get it up and running today!

Hmmmm exactly the same problem..... So frustrating, I have the VM up and running on my ESX server, but cant manage it!!!

Working, downloaded outside our network and it worked... weird...

we are setup with messagelabs web filtering, maybe that was the problem.

Very odd. I wonder if the checksum is actually different between the one you downloaded that did not work, and the one you downloaded and did work. Bygones.
