topic VSA Help in StoreVirtual Storage

Hi

1. I realise that VSA NR10 affects write performance. But is this latency due to the network portion of the write to another host, or because it gets written to tier 1 on that second host?
2. If it's the latter, what are the best ways to mitigate this? (Raid performance? Spindle count?). Is there any way for something like smartcache to help out here?
3. Are there any general recommendations for which HP SSD type is best for VSA? I like the read IOPS of the value endurance, and I'm not sure the higher spec SSDs will make a big dent on write iops with the latency you get on NR10 for writes anyway, but I'd also like reassurance that their DWPD is sufficient.

Any help greatly received
